Among the dunes of Comporta, we settled into old fishermen’s huts perched between sea and rice fields. Mornings began in stillness, meditating as the wind moved through the reeds. Days were spent gathering what the landscape offered: wild flowers, seasonal fruit, and seafood fresh from the Atlantic.

Meals stretched long into the evening. The day’s catch, shared at a weathered table. Sparkling water poured between conversations. Salt on the skin. Sand beneath bare feet.
A reminder that the best things are often the simplest: good company, fresh ingredients, and time enough to enjoy them.

AWA CABANA
We’ll be hosting more gatherings in the future. If you’d like to join us at the next table, stay close. And for the moments not captured here, follow along on Instagram, where we’re sharing the full story from Comporta.

The Soundtrack
In the meantime, we’ve put together the playlist that soundtracked the weekend. A collection of songs for slow mornings, long lunches, and golden evenings.
