Spice up Thanksgiving with a REAL ginger ale!

Ingredients:
🫚 1/2 Cup Chopped Ginger
🍯 Cup Honey
⭐️ 2 Star Anise
🧄 1 Tsp Cloves
🍋 1 Lemon (optional)
💦 2 Cups Water
🫧 1 Glass Sparkling Water

Instructions:
Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and simmer over medium heat. Let it cook for about 20-30 minutes, depending on how strong you like your ginger flavor. If you love a bold ginger kick like I do, let it go a bit longer until the mixture thickens into a nice syrup.

Once it’s ready, take it off the heat and let it cool completely. Strain the syrup into a container, so you’re left with a smooth, golden liquid.

To enjoy, pour the syrup over ice, top with sparkling water, and garnish however you like. So easy and so refreshing!
