Why AWA Chose 316L
Rather than using the most common stainless steel found in reusable bottles, AWA is made from uncoated 316L stainless steel, inside and out.
316L contains molybdenum, which gives it greater resistance to corrosion than standard 304 stainless steel.
Then we electropolish the interior, creating a smoother stainless-steel surface with improved corrosion resistance.
We didn't coat a lesser surface. We started with a better one.
